Crack

I am so tired of seeing girls butt cracks. I take Colin to the library for story time every Thursday and with out fail some other mom in front of me has her butt crack hanging out. This poor girl kept adjusting and adjusting but she never was able to pull her pants high enough. Do you remember the days when it was just some fat plumber. Can it even be called plumber's crack anymore with so many girls having theirs hanging out? I reached around to make sure I didn't have a similar problem. I can just imagine the person behind me thinking "What's up with the granny panties?" Then I thought to myself does my butt crack even come up that high? After feeling, I don't think it does.

Even worse is when a girl bends over and her thong is in clear view. I don't think it looks "Sexy" at all. Why is this being advertised as sexy? When I was in high school we called it "embarrassing." My friends and I would offer an underwear check service for each other just to make sure we didn't have our underwear showing.

I know I sound like an old lady. I just am so tired of seeing it everywear! Buy pants that cover your bottom, that is why we wear pants.

The Power of Commercials

In the kitchen the other day the boys were talking about wanting to get me a birthday present. When Ryan walked in they said that they have some money saved up and they wanted to go to the store. Ryan told them that he would give them some money and asked where they wanted to go. Hayden whispered in Ryan's ear and said,"Can we go to Jared?" Since he doesn't know how to whisper, I heard what he said and started laughing. It's good to know that the Jared commercials are working on my eight year old son.

Conversation with Colin

About a week ago I had this conversation with Colin.

C-Mommy you are beautiful. (sweet, I know. He tells me this all the time.)

Me-Oh thank you, you are such a gentleman.

C-NO I'M NOT!

Me- Colin, a gentleman is a good thing. Don't you want to be one?

C- No, I want to be a missionary.

I can't argue with that. I used to say,"If I have to have four boys then I want to raise four gentlemen." Now, Colin has taught me that even better than that would be to raise four missionaries. I couldn't pray or hope for anything better.

Visitors

In November, my parents and brother Josh came to visit us. We were able to do some fun stuff with them. They were able to see two of Hayden's games. One of him winning and one of him loosing. It was great to have them there to support him. We miss having our family at the boys events.

We decided to go to Charleston SC for a couple of days. We had never been there before so, we thought it would be a fun trip to do with my family. We were able to go to an aquarium, Patriots Point , and the beach. There is so much history in Charleston. We shopped in some buildings where slaves were traded and my brother went on a ghost tour where pirates had been. The boys really wanted to do the ghost tour but I wouldn't let them. Maybe when they are older. I loved it there and would love to go back with just Ryan.

It was nice to have my parents and brother visit. I was sad to see them go home. At this time of year we especially miss our family. So, if anyone wants to come visit us, know that we have fun stuff to do.

Hayden had the best time playing football this year. For once in his life his size was to his advantage. He did such a great job playing both the offensive and the defensive line and he really improved through the season. His team was undefeated until the championship game. They worked so hard but they still lost the game. He was so upset and I just wanted to cry for him. Ryan told him to remember how it feels to loose because he will learn more from it than he ever did from winning. The good thing is he can't wait to play again next year and that is all that matters. He really made us proud.
