That's My Colin

Funny little story about Colin. On Sunday he climbed up on my lap and he was stinky. I said,"What is that Cologne you are wearing." He said,"Poopy diaper mommy." Ryan and I laughed. So I asked him if he would like to start going in the toilet. He said,"Sponge Bob underwear?" So I excitedly replied,"Yes, if you go poopy on the toilet I will get you Sponge Bob underwear. Do you want to?" Colin-"Nope" What a little tease.

The storm

We had a crazy, house shaking storm a few weeks ago. It made the power go out just as I was putting the kids to bed. I couldn't believe how dark our house was. I gathered all my boys and took them downstairs into the family room so they wouldn't be scared. There had been tornado warnings is towns near by so I worried a little about that. I don't know if they warn you with a siren or if I should be listening to the radio. I was not prepared. I probably should be figuring that out. Anyways, I built a fire to give the room a little more light. The older three boys fell asleep pretty fast. The next two pictures are of Colin and me having fun with a flashlight.


The next day one of our trees had fallen down. Hayden and Noah thought this was great! They played on and around that tree for days. They would take out snacks and pretend they were camping. I felt bad that we would eventually have to have it removed. But now, they don't even care about it so bring on the chain saw. We could use some firewood.
